Book a babysitter
I'm 25, I live in Fakenham and I currently work for the agency Teach as an HLSA (Home Learning Support Assistant) for Medical Needs, where I support vulnerable teenagers (12-16) to access education. This role is somewhat similar to a tutor, but I also offer social and emotional support through what is a very difficult time for them.
I have a clean DBS which updates annually for my work, I take refresher courses every year in First Aid and Safeguarding Young People, and I have also previously taken food hygiene and medication handling training courses. I also have lots of experience with children who have SEN or challenging behaviours (previously having worked in a Special Educational Needs school.) I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a turtle so I am very pet-friendly!
I have had both of my COVID vaccinations (as well as the booster) and would be more than happy to send a photo of a lateral flow test on the day of the appointment if needed.
After this, I worked in nurseries (ages 4 months - 5 years), pre-schools (2-5 years), and after-school clubs (5-11 years). With my current job, I have previously completed a number of placements at SEN schools (both primary and secondary), and I also have experience working in Short Stay Schools for teenagers with challenging behaviours (12-16). I find the work really interesting, and rewarding, and would potentially like to look into completing a degree in the Psychology/Criminology field later in life.
I enjoy spending time with babies, children and teenagers equally! I feel as though I’ve covered pretty much every age range and would feel comfortable with most scenarios.

Babysitting experience
I have been working with BabysittersOf (Norfolk) since 2018 now! However, I have 8 years of experience working with children, as I first started out as an apprentice Nursery Nurse at the age of 17 and achieved my Level 2 as an Early Years Practitioner.After this, I worked in nurseries (ages 4 months - 5 years), pre-schools (2-5 years), and after-school clubs (5-11 years). Olivia’s interests
Outside of work I enjoy gaming, walks (especially in woods/forests), travelling and socialising with friends and family! I am also thinking of taking up bouldering, which is a form of rock climbing without the use of ropes or harnesses.
